Born from love, twice over

Some businesses start with a business plan. This one started with love, twice over.

Years ago, I helped planned my friend's baby shower from scratch. Designed the invitations, built the decor, created the games, and hosted the whole thing. The theme then was bees, "Hi Honey"...we're having a baby!, and almost every detail was made by hand with utmost care. Watching her surrounded by the people she loves, in a space I helped create for her, something clicked. I didn't just enjoy making it beautiful. I needed it to be meaningful.

Time truly flies because that little one we were celebrating? She's my niece and she turns TWELVE this year!

The other half of this brand came from a quieter, more somber place. When I lost my mother (my angel), I understood firsthand how much the details matter in grief. How a well-designed program, a thoughtfully worded tribute, a keepsake someone can hold onto becomes something far greater than paper. It becomes proof that a life was celebrated. That it mattered. That the people left behind took the time to honor it properly.

Those two moments, one full of joy and one full of grief, are the heart of Koncepts and Keepsakes.
